With improvisation at its heart, the label seeks to continue the independent and forward thinking attitudes of the British Jazz scene of the 60s and 70s, bringing together the styles and influences that have shaped the world of Jazz over the past thirty years – both respecting history and reflecting the current time. The label shines a light onto the greats of British Jazz through the prism of contemporary culture that has informed and influenced the players.

The label is the brainchild of Nostalgia 77’s Ben Lamdin, DJ Hugo Mendez and Bassist Riaan Vosloo.
